Program

The course introduces a multidisciplinary approach and theories related to politics, public administration, public policy and society in Israel. Students will expand their knowledge and analytical 'tool box' related to the society and politics in Israel and beyond. At the end of the course, students will be able to ask questions and critically examine political and social processes in Israel. They will gain deeper understanding of the social and political complexity of Israel by examining particular contemporary and historical events.

The course focuses on three main subjects related to Israel: Politics, Society and Public Policy and is addressed to anyone interested in the contemporary issues related to Israel and the Middle East.

  • Israel’s Public Administration Framework
  • Third sector and government, collaboration and tensions
  • Education policy in Israel - educational approaches in the face of a diverse society; The perception of high school students on the purpose of trips to Poland.

Candidate

The course is addressed to anyone interested in the contemporary issues related to Israel and the Middle East. There are no pre-requisites. The course is free of charge as it is financed by the Erasmus+ program.
