Improve your sleep quality with Nightly Research App

In the contemporary 24/7 world, many people suffer from sleep deprivation, experience difficulties in falling asleep or do not feel rested even if they finally manage to catch a snooze.

If you would like to improve your own sleep quality and help others who suffer from sleep disorders, you can take part in a study conducted by the Center for Innovation, at SWPS University. The study will investigate the long-term impact of the Nightly Research app on sleep quality, stress and mood. As a bonus, study participants will receive free access to the app for 3 months, once the study is finished.

About the app

The Nightly Research app is designed to improve the quality of sleep by:

  • helping the user to fall asleep
  • decreasing the number of awakenings during the night
  • decreasing the number of nightmares.

The Nightly Research app is the result of a collaboration between specialists in a variety of fields, including: sleep medicine experts, neuropsychologists, and neuroscientists. The methodology has been tested and deemed safe by the Center for Sleep Medicine at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology.

About the study

The study requires participants to:

  • use the Nightly Research app for 2 weeks
  • complete 3 questionnaires, in the period of 4 weeks
  • actively use the app for approx. 5 to 10 minutes a day

To particpate in the study, candidates must:

  • be 18 years of age or older
  • have a mobile phone with an operating system iOS 10 (or a newer version) or Android 5 (or a newer version)
  • demonstrate intermediate English proficiency, i.e. at least at the CEFR B1 level
