Our foundation was established to address the need for the comprehensive and harmonious development of children, while respecting their dignity and their right to autonomy. Our primary objective is to foster relationships based on respect and trust between adults and children. We create spaces where children and adolescents can learn in a free and democratic manner. We operate several educational groups: the Wolna Szkoła Demokratyczna Bullerbyn in suburban Świętochów, the Leśna Grupa Unschooling’owa in the Jazdów and Przystań housing estates of Warsaw, and the Wolne Liceum in the Praga-Północ district. We strive to popularize the principles of free and democratic education in Poland, and we engage in international collaborations.

Our ideal candidate
We are looking for students and graduates of pedagogy, psychology, and similar fields, individuals who are currently working or planning to work in education, as well as those interested in alternative schools. We seek collaboration with individuals who value their personal development and are open to participating in training programs and supervisions.
What we will offer during the Fair
- An information stand for the Akademia Bullerbyn program, attended by a Graduate of the program.
- A meeting discussing the topic: ‘Who is an educator in a democratic school?’
