Wrocław Remand Prison (Areszt Śledczy we Wrocławiu)
As outlined in the directive issued by the Director General of the Penitentiary System on November 30, 2015, the Wrocław Remand Prison functions both as a closed prison for recidivists and as a remand prison.

Our operations primarily involve tasks related to the enforcement of imprisonment and remand penalties.

Qualities we seek in potential employees
Every officer accepted for service undergoes initial training, which comprises preliminary onboarding, an introductory course, and professional apprenticeship. After completing the initial training, the officer may participate in professional and specialist training programs, as well as professional development courses. Depending on the job position, these can be preparatory training programs for individuals advancing to higher positions, as well as courses in team leadership, inmate resocialization programs, courses for shift supervisors and security department officers, statisticians in the records department, and many more. We seek individuals with at least secondary education for security division roles, and those prepared to work in other divisions where higher education is required. We value candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional development and are eager to take on new challenges.
