Fundacja “Umbrella”
Over the past 17 years, our foundation has been devoted to assisting NGOs, initiative groups, and activists. Since the inception of 'Umbrella,' we have firmly believed that the strength of Polish democracy and civil society is reflected in the vitality of non-governmental organizations. That's why we consistently offer support through training, guidance, and information sharing, along with providing access to our facilities and equipment. Our aim is to empower organizations towards greater independence. We concentrate our efforts on both organizations and citizens of Wrocław. In a densely populated city where nearly 2.5 thousand NGOs are active, there is a constant demand for services addressing the evolving needs of these organizations. Consequently, we are deeply committed to fostering the establishment and growth of non-governmental organizations and social initiatives in Wrocław.
Main areas (industries) in which we operate:
"Umbrella" foundation supports citizens of Wrocław engaged in social activities through non-governmental organizations or informal groups. We offer assistance in the following areas:
- educational activities: advice, workshops, training, study visits
- ensuring accessibility: providing information tablets in Braille and marking tapes
- inclusion in international collaboration: industry group for international collaboration and developing partnerships
- advocacy: promoting successful collaboration between the Wrocław municipality and organizations
- supporting the Ukrainian community: organizing integration meetings, courses, etc.
- caring for activists: counteracting activist burnout

Our ideal candidate:
We seek individuals with experience in editing, photography, design, sports, visual arts, and new technologies. We also welcome individuals with no previous experience who wish to pursue social activity while developing these competencies.

We offer advice on choosing the appropriate form of volunteer work, a fun quiz, and an opportunity to receive promotional gadgets for individuals interested in volunteering.
