UNHCR Poland
The main tasks of the UNHCR Representation in Poland are to monitor the access of persons seeking refugee status to the territory of Poland and to reliable procedures asylums. Our other tasks include assessing reception conditions and looking for sustainable solutions for persons under international protection (persons granted refugee status or subsidiary protection), persons under other forms of protection, as well as stateless persons. UNHCR in Poland is promoting the resolution of statelessness, including accession by the Poland to statelessness conventions. UNHCR Representation in Poland It also supports efforts to get Poland involved in the resettlement of people covered by the international protection.
