The Border Guard is a uniformed and armed formation designed to protect the state border, control border traffic to prevent and counter illegal migration.
Main areas (industries) in which we operate
- Border traffic control at the airport,
- Detection and recognition of document forgery,
- Issuance of border crossing permits, including visas
- Detecting crimes and apprehending suspects,
- Special operations implemented against particularly dangerous criminals,
- Minerals and pyrotechnic activities,
- Preventing the movement of narcotics, weapons and ammunition, and explosives across the border without the required permits.
