Agencja Rozwoju Aglomeracji Wrocławskiej (ARAW), founded in 2006 by the city of Wrocław and the surrounding municipalities, has been playing a key role in the promotion of the region and supporting its economic development for years. ARAW's mission is to create an attractive business, social and cultural ecosystem that fosters sustainable development and building a dynamic space to live and work. ARAW consistently pursues its goals by: attracting foreign investors from the manufacturing and service industries, which has already allowed us to create over 125 thousand new jobs as part of 260 key investment projects, building a network of contacts and an ecosystem aimed at supporting technologically advanced projects – such as R&D, ICT, Industry 4.0 or electromobility, supporting startups and cooperation between young, creative entrepreneurs and mature business, implementation of educational, promotional and infrastructural projects financed from external funds, information activities addressed to residents and people studying, working and visiting Wrocław, development of recognizable brands such as Invest in Wrocław, Study in Wrocław, Startup Wrocław, Visit Wrocław or Made in Wrocław. As a local partner of Polska Agencjia Inwestycji i Handlu (PAIH), ARAW supports both the inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) and the expansion of Polish companies into international markets.
