Techniques for effective communication in international teams. AFS Poland experience. (event in Polish)

The workshop is designed to equip participants with basic tools to communicate effectively in international teams, taking into account cultural differences, language differences, and different communication styles. Participants will be provided with basic tips on how to avoid misunderstandings, how to communicate effectively, how to adapt their approach to colleagues from different cultures and how to collaborate effectively in a diverse environment.
Workshop leader:
Dr Bartosz Golabek - is the Organization Development Coordinator at AFS Poland, responsible for, among other things, volunteer coordination and relations with external institutions. Since 2008 he has been a lecturer at the Institute of East Slavonic Philology at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, and author of publications and books on Russian culture and thought. From 2016 to 2022, he served as director of the Humanities Institute at the State Higher Vocational School in Krosno. Dr. Golabek is also the author of a podcast and a practitioner of intercultural communication.
