Plain language - Straight about difficult matters (event in Polish)

The simple language movement was born in the area of European Funds. Since then, the movement, known in the world as plain language, has been called plain language. If you are interested in effective communication, you are interested in what it is like to work in an administration that cares about:
- improving the quality of life of citizens (e.g. easy filling in official forms)
- higher civic awareness
- wider access to services
- counteracting social exclusion
This workshop is for you.
At the meeting you will learn m.in:
- What is simple language and why is it worth simplifying
- Rules for simplifying texts
- A model of simple language in the ministry and not only
Workshop leaders:
Anna Szybalska-Idzik - leader of simple language in the European Funds system. Internal trainer and editor of the European Funds bulletin "eFEkty". She believes in the power of simple communication created with the recipient in mind. For seven years, she has been tirelessly encouraging government and local government officials to use simple language.
Aleksandra Sułek – Marketing communication and PR specialist, with experience in the public sector and business. Consultant and trainer of effective communication. For five years, she has been a leader in the simple language of European Funds and a co-organizer of the Simple Language Forum "Prosto i kropka". Privately, she is a lover of biography and travel.
