Crisis intervention - a case study (event in Polish)

How does crisis intervention work? How do you support people in acute life crises involving violence, suicidal crises or sudden life changes? Together we will go through an analysis of several different cases, telling you what role crisis intervention plays in the support system, how to support the client together with other professionals (lawyer, psychiatrist, social worker) and what the nature of short- term, interventionist psychological support can be.
Workshop leaders:
Izabela Kaczmarek, MA - a psychologist who works at the Crisis Intervention Center in Gdynia, and is currently training in Intensive Short-Term Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. In the past she worked as a paramedic.
