”Mrowisko” Association for Community-Based Prevention
The ”MROWISKO” Association for Community-Based Prevention is a non-governmental organization based in Gdańsk, operating since 1993. From the very beginning, we have focused on a comprehensive and innovative approach—combining streetwork, school-based initiatives, and support for families and local communities.
Today, MROWISKO conducts a wide range of activities addressed to children, youth, adults, parents, families, and institutions. We offer day-support facilities, therapy, and counseling—including services for individuals struggling with addiction—as well as workshops, sociotherapy sessions, prevention projects, social activation, and education.
We implement outreach programs (such as the current "StreetBike" project), run a youth therapy center in Sopot, and provide outpatient clinic services and support for entire families. Our mission is to accompany those in difficult life situations—supporting their development, building healthy relationships, strengthening social integration, and preventing social exclusion.
MROWISKO is a registered organization actively operating throughout the Tri-City area. We invite everyone who needs support or wishes to get involved to contact us.
