Sopot Volunteering

Sopot Volunteering is organized within the framework of the Sopot Centre for Non-Governmental Organizations and Volunteering, one of the flagship projects of the 'Na Drodze Ekspresji' Association.

Main areas (industries) in which we operate

• Education: We provide training for volunteers (including in schools) and prepare organizations and institutions for legally compliant cooperation with volunteers.
• Networking the Sopot Volunteer Community: We build open partnerships between organizations and co-create diverse volunteering spaces (e.g., social aid, culture, sports, ecology, education, animal welfare, etc.).
• Database Management: We maintain a calendar of events, a database of volunteering opportunities, and a volunteer registry.
• Volunteer Matchmaking in Sopot: We act as an intermediary, connecting volunteers with organizations and entities seeking support.
• Neighborhood Volunteering for Sopot Seniors: We facilitate individual, long-term support for lonely seniors through dedicated volunteers.
• Crisis Response Volunteering: We organize and coordinate emergency aid volunteering in response to extraordinary needs, such as the COVID-19 pandemic or the war in Ukraine.
• Volunteer Care and Support: We organize meetings for volunteers to facilitate learning and motivation through active and enjoyable integration.
• Awards and Recognition: We organize the "Volunteering. Active in Sopot" competition and the annual Sopot Volunteering Gala.
