The District Labour Office in Gdynia is a public institution that carries out tasks related to labor market issues, the mitigation of the effects of unemployment, and the vocational activation of the unemployed and job seekers, including persons with disabilities. It acquires and processes job vacancies, registers the unemployed and those seeking work, and organizes and finances forms of assistance—specifically job placement services, vocational counseling, skills development, and the enhancement of professional qualifications.
