Dreamlab Development Foundation

The Dreamlab Development Foundation, operating in Sopot since 2018, is a public benefit organization dedicated to creating educational and therapeutic spaces for children with diverse educational challenges and special educational needs. Our primary areas of activity include the Dreamlab Therapeutic Preschool and the Non-Public Development Support Clinic.

The Dreamlab Therapeutic Preschool is a facility for 25 children on the autism spectrum. Our priority is to create a safe, accepting, and supportive environment that enables every child to develop at their own pace and in harmony with their needs. We assume the child’s competence and recognize every child as capable of learning and communicating with their surroundings. Through actions based on a humanistic and non-directive approach, we strive to create the best possible conditions for supporting children—moving away from methods based on obedience, punishments, and rewards, or those requiring children on the autism spectrum to exhibit behaviors detached from their developmental path (so-called "neurotypical behaviors").

The Dreamlab Non-Public Development Support Clinic is a space dedicated to children requiring individual therapeutic support due to disharmonious development. Its activities focus on diagnosis, therapy, and the provision of free sessions under the Early Childhood Development Support (WWR) program for both the child and their family.

With full respect for the uniqueness of every child, their needs, and their individual pace of development, the therapists of the Dreamlab Development Foundation take actions aimed at creating a healthy environment that fosters self-awareness, independence, and self-esteem.
