Gdańsk Children's Homes
Our institution is an organization operating under the Social Development Department of the Gdańsk City Hall. Our mission is to provide foster care for children up to the age of 18 from dysfunctional families, who are referred to us by a Family Court order. Gdańsk Children's Homes operate across six separate residential locations where children live in groups of fourteen, with one of the houses serving as a specialized facility for nine residents.
Main areas (industries) in which we operate
Our work focuses on ensuring the social and health security of our charges, as well as organizing their education, developing their interests, and preparing them for independent living. Additionally, our efforts are directed toward working with the families of our wards to facilitate a potential return to their natural environment. We are committed to providing comprehensive care and fostering independence through collaboration with family support institutions, employers, and foundations dedicated to helping young people enter the labor market.
Values that guide our work:
In our work, we are guided by the broadly defined rights of the child, as well as the professional ethics of psychologists and educators.
What we offer at the Job and Internship Fair 2026:
We will rely on our own materials and individual contact with those interested.
