Association for the Professional and Social Integration and Activation of People with Disabilities ”EMAUS”
We operate a day support facility for individuals with various disabilities, known as an Occupational Therapy Workshop (WTZ). The workshop provides comprehensive rehabilitation for 35 individuals with intellectual disabilities. Our vocational and social therapy programs are designed for persons with significant or moderate levels of disability.
The goal of the program is rehabilitation aimed at achieving the greatest possible independence – ranging from autonomy in activities of daily living and social independence to gaining employment.
In our therapeutic work, the workshops focus on preparing participants to fulfill adult social and vocational roles, ensuring active and conscious participation in social life, and teaching them how to cope with the challenges of everyday life. We also create conditions for the individual growth of each participant while nurturing their artistic sensitivity and developing their interests. We prepare them for the workforce, assist in finding jobs, and implement supported employment.
