Values that guide our work:
The Kraków Branch of the PPA (OK PTP) operates based on values that define the professional standards of the psychological community and its directions of development. Professional ethics and responsibility are of key importance, understood as adhering to high standards of psychological practice, caring for the well-being of those seeking help, and respecting professional confidentiality. Scientific integrity and professionalism also play an essential role, meaning that actions are based on current psychological knowledge, critical thinking, and continuous professional development. The Branch is also guided by the values of collaboration and community integration, supporting the exchange of experiences between practitioners, researchers, and students, while building a culture of mutual respect. Furthermore, openness and the dissemination of knowledge are vital, manifesting in the popularization of psychology and increasing the accessibility of reliable knowledge for the general public.
