Natacha Carragher, is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. She holds a Ph.D. in psychiatric epidemiology and is a Visiting Fellow at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre, University of New South Wales, Australia. Dr. Carragher has expertise in epidemiological analysis, the assessment and classification of mental health disorders, substance use disorders and addictive behaviors, as well as psychometrics and latent variable modelling techniques. From 2015 to 2022, Dr. Carragher worked as a Consultant and was the key contact for Addictive Behaviours (gaming and gambling) in the Alcohol, Drugs and Addictive Behaviours Unit at World Health Organization HQ in Geneva, Switzerland. As part of this work, she designed and led an international project developing gold-standard diagnostic interviews and a screener for gaming disorder.
