About the conference
‘Clinical Psychology Now!’ – is the theme of the EACLIPT 2022 Conference organized by SWPS University and the European Association of Clinical Psychology and Psychological Treatment (EACLIPT).
The goal of the Conference is to bring together clinical psychologists, academics, researchers and practitioners from around the world to share findings, experiences, best practices, and discuss the latest scientific discoveries and future directions to enable further developments in the field of clinical psychology.
It is especially imporatant nowadays, when the field of Clinical Psychology has been changing rapidly. New research methods have been developed. New types of psychological interventions and therapies, enabled by new technologies, have been designed, implemented, and evaluated. At the same time, the need for mental health services has been steadily growing, due to the increased economic, ecological, and social pressures experienced by populations around the globe.
On behalf of the Scientific Committee, I welcome all clinicians, scientists and scientist practitioners from different European countries to this EACLIPT Conference 2022 in Warsaw. The program has already shaped up, with excellent keynotes, timely symposia and round tables that will show what clinical psychology has to offer in Europe in these challenging times. This conference will also facilitate lots of opportunities for exchange of experiences, best practices and research! I add my best wishes for a fruitful conference and my thanks to all organizers
