Marta Jackowska

Dr. Marta Jackowska is a health psychologist. Her research interests focus on sleep studies, for example the impact of sleep on cognitive functions, affective disorders, and reaction to stress and experimental studies aimed at the improvement of the quality of sleep.
Currently, Dr. Jackowska researches sleep-related behaviors in Polish teenagers. She is also the Head of the Polish team collaborating on an EU Horizon research project “HappyMums” (to start in November 2022), which examines biological determinants of depression among pregnant women and aims to develop a mobile app enabling monitoring of mood disorders among this group and provide therapeutic interventions. It is a 4-year research project, where SWPS University is one 17 consortium partners.
Marta is also a leading coordinator of the EACLIPT Webinar Series which presents various aspects of clinical psychology and treatments.
