Marlijn Besten is a Ph.D. student at the department of Biomedical Sciences of Cells & Systems of the University Medical Center Groningen, the Netherlands. She obtained an M.Sc. degree in Cognitive Neurosciences from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Her research focuses on how perseverative cognition can be reduced using several therapeutic intervention techniques in order to prevent a depressive relapse.
