Students of English Studies with Italian learn English and Italian simultaneously and they become familiar with the culture of both countries. English courses are taught at a higher level of competency and include linguistics, intensive language development, as well as cultural and historical background of the English speaking countries. Italian classes, on the other hand, start at the beginner level and gradually develop language competences. The aim for students is to reach CEFR C1 English and B2 Italian proficiency level or higher.

Requirements: English proficiency - CEFR B2 or higher, supported by appropriate English proficiency certificates.


The Program of English Studies with Italian is addressed to people who have aptitude for language learning. It is a good choice for those interested in the European culture, especially the culture of the Mediterranean region. The program complements studies in other fields, such as: business, political or cultural studies. The combined skills gained during a double major program, equip graduates with English and Italian language skills that broaden the range of employment opportunities.

Translation Studies focus on translation theory and practice and on intensive language skills development. All courses are taught by experienced translators and linguists. Students become familiar with the requirements of general and specialized translation. They practice various translation methods and techniques employed in written and oral translation. All translation courses are developed in accordance with the guidelines of the European Union’s Directorate-General for Translation.

English in Business and Media

English in Business and Media is focused on teaching business English with elements of economy, marketing and public relations. Students learn about organizational structure, business management, business environment and market issues. They also become familiar with the style of business writing and learn how to develop business plans, reports and business strategy. Moreover, they gain general business skills, such as presentation or negotiation skills and learn about business code of conduct.

  5. Wait for a Conditional Acceptance Letter.
  6. Wait for the Final Acceptance.
  7. Upon your arrival in Poland, submit original documents to the Admissions Office.
  8. During the first semester, submit the Nostrificaiton of your diploma.
