Belarus
Due to the expiration of the bilateral agreement between Poland and Belarus, concerning the mutual recognition of school and university diplomas, holders of secondary school diplomas issued in Belarus after November 3, 2023, must submit their diploma(s) to the regional Education Office for the nostrification procedure (i.e. to have them officially recognized by the Polish Education Authority). To have your documents recognized by the Education Office you must also submit an apostille, i.e. a certificate that authenticates the signature of a public official on a document for use in another country. We understand that currently, for many candidates the process of obtaining an apostille may prove difficult. Therefore, we do not require an apostille to admit a candidate to SWPS University, however, an official nostrification of Belarussian diploma(s) must be submitted to the Center for Student Affairs before graduation.

Sweden

Nostrification: Pursuant to Article 160 of the above-noted legal act, only persons with diplomas confirming undergraduate or graduate degrees obtained in Poland, according to Article 326 of the Act 1 or whose diplomas have been formally recognized in the course of a nostrification process, can be admitted to graduate certificate programs (postgraduate studies). A Turkish undergraduate diploma must undergo a process of nostrification, pursuant to the regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 28 September 2018 on recognition of higher education diploma from abroad and confirmation of higher education completion on certain level [Dz. U. (Journal of Laws) 1881], to establish its equivalency with Polish diplomas.
