Agata Anacik-Kryza, Ph.D., is a sociologist, cultural anthropologist, and a social researcher. She specializes in alternative doctrines in design, design research, and inclusive design, in particular design for neuro-diverse persons.
She is interested in inclusive language and its practical applications in society. She investigates how aspiring designers apply methodology of social research while working on their graduation projects and later, in their design practice. She researches teaching standards in art and design schools, in particular how and where students learn typography, and whether classes in universal design, incorporated in design programs, bring any benefits.
At SWPS University, she teaches classes in alternative design doctrines, universal design, research in design process, and quantitiative and qualitative research.
