Aleksandra Dopierała holds a doctoral degree in social sciences, in the discipline of psychology. She is also a certified teacher.
Her research interests include developmental psychology, educational psychology, and the development of social and emotional skills.
She co-authored articles on empathy, published in Frontiers in Psychology and the Polish Psychological Bulletin. She also co-wrote a monograph Ocenianie zachowania. Jak robić to lepiej? Trzy modele oceniania zachowania z komentarzem [Assessing Behavior. How Can We Do It Better? Three Models of Behavioral Assessment with Commentary] (2023).
At SWPS University, Aleksandra teaches classes in developmental psychology, educational psychology, psychology of child and adolescent development, cognitive psychology, applications of psychology, and empirical work.
She is the Supervisor of a student organization — Psychoeducation Research Club in Poznań and a Coordinator of the Developmental Psychology specialization.
Apart of her academic career, Alexandra holds the position of the Deputy Director at Spark Academy, a private primary and secondary school in Poznań. Additionally, she is a member of the Restorative Schools Working Group of the European Forum for Restorative Justice.
