Profile

Professor Rymarczyk is a member of the Program Council for the graduate certificate programs offered by SWPS University and a member of the Polish Accreditation Committee.

She researches organizational basis of brain function, including emotional processes occurring during the development phase and adulthood. She is also interested in correlations between physical activity and child cognitive development and the impact of “screen media” on brain development in children.

She is a Principal Investigator in a project focused on researching the impact of Transcranial Direct-Current Stimulation (tDCS) on emotional self-regulation disorders (self-harming) occurring during the development phase. The project is financed by the Regional Initiative of Excellence (RID).

At SWPS University she teaches classes in biological foundations of behavior, neuropsychology, and neuroscience. She also lectures on neurologopedics (speech therapy) to students of postgraduate programs.
