Agnieszka Zajączkowska-Drożdż

 

Profile

Dr. Agnieszka Zajączkowska-Drożdż is an Assistant Professor at the Department of European Society and Cultural Heritage at the Institute of European Studies of the Jagiellonian University. She graduated with a diploma in Jewish Studies from the Jagiellonian University. She also holds a doctoral degree in political science and administration from the Institute of Political Sciences and International Relations at the Jagiellonian University. She is a recipient of the Israel Government Scholarship. She was the Director of the Center for Holocaust Studies, at the Jagiellonian University (2017-2020). She was Principal Investigator in a project “Europe for Citizens: E-WORDS (Europeans Win Ostracism. From Remembrance to a Dialogue Society) (2017-2019). Her research interests include the history of the Holocaust, the ideology and politics of the Third Reigh, Jewish culture and history, and the policy of remembrance.
