Program

Our English Language Summer School is a six-week non-degree program, designed for students who wish to quickly improve their English language competencies, before starting a degree program at a university.

There are 25 hours of instruction per week. During the course, students improve their speaking, listening, comprehension, grammar, reading and writing skills. The program focuses on equipping them with language skills necessary for analysis and comprehension of academic texts and for critical assessment of complex theories and terms. Students also learn about some aspects of Polish culture, such as film, history, literature, art and music.

The course starts with a written and oral assessment test, which allows us to place students in groups appropriate to their English competency. Learning at the appropriate level ensures rapid skill development and allows participants to communicate with an increasing ease and confidence.

Candidates who achieve at least level B2 on the final test will be able to proceed to university degree programs in Polish. Others may choose to enroll in our English Preparatory School » to continue language skill development.

Candidate

The program is designed for students, who have already reached CEFR A2+ level of English proficiency and wish to improve their skills to the B2 or C1 level. Students study in groups appropriate to their skill level, which ensures rapid improvement of their English competency.

Advantages

Rapid Improvement of English Skills

The English Language Summer School provides students, who have alreday reached English proficiency CEFR B1+, with additional time to further develop their language competencies. In just six weeks, students can significantly improve their speaking, listening and writing skills, while enjoying summer in Warsaw.

Study in Capital of Poland

Warsaw is the capital of Poland. It is a city steeped in history, yet it is focused on the present and looking forward to the future. Within one day, you can travel back in time by taking a stroll around the Old Town, then return to the present and go shopping at one of the modern shopping centers, and finally take the subway, running under the Vistula River, to gaze into distant galaxies at the Copernicus Science Center. During summers, the city hosts numerous events available free of charge, including concerts and music festivals, open air film screenings, and entry to many art galleries and museums.
