Adrian Rycerski, is a Doctor of Law (J.D.), an advocate, and a Certified Advisor in the Multilateral Trading Facility (certificate no. 18/2015).
He specializes in the compliance with the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR), Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II), Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR), banking regulation, Payment Service Directives and Payment Service Regulation (PSD2-3/PSR), and Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) legislation.
Dr. Rycerski authored and co-authored numerous articles published in academic journals, such as commentary to the Polish Act on Bonds (2022), the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments (2022), and the Act on Counteracting Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism (2019). He also authored a monograph The reasonable investor test in the EU capital market law, published by C.H. Beck (2022). In 2023, he published an article “Do we really need a ‘perfectly reasonable investor’” in the Capital Markets Law Journal.
On January 1, 2025, he was appointed SWPS University’s Disciplinary Officer for Student Conduct, for the 2025-2028 term.
At SWPS University, he teaches classes in capital markets law, international private law, commercial law, civil law, planning, strategy, and legal research.
