Profile

Agnieszka Popławska, Ph.D., is a psychologist who specializes in organizational and management psychology. She also holds a Master’s degree in economics (specialization marketing).

Her main research focus is marketing psychology, in particular individual differences in processing advertising content, e.g., media multitasking. She is also interested in cognitive psychology and researches latent learning.

Dr. Popławska participated in several consulting projects concerning human potential management and marketing, commissioned by businesses in the Tri-City region of Poland. As a communication and marketing expert, she collaborated with the Gdańsk University of Technology on the NIWA Excellence Center, which provides technological services for application development, and MOST Wiedzy projects. In cooperation with the District Employment Office in Gdańsk, she managed the development of the Pomeranian Center for Professional Skills, an institution specializing in the skill assessment and job activation of the unemployed.

At SWPS University she teaches classes in career planning and organizational and marketing psychology.
