Anna Kamza holds a doctoral degree in psychology. She carries out interdisciplinary research projects encompassing cognitive psychology, personality psychology, and psychology of individual differences. She is interested in topics such as attachment and mentalization (i.e. the ability to understand the mental state of others) as well as their cognitive and psychophysiological correlates.
Dr. Kamza is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA).
She has been a Principal Investigator of several research projects, including an ongoing study (2021-2022) “Weryfikacja procedury nadprogowej aktywacji systemu przywiązania w dorosłości: badanie pilotażowe” (Verification of suprathreshold activation of the attachment system in adults: a pilot study), financed by the National Science Centre’s MINIATURA funding scheme (project no. 2021/05/X/HS6/00044).
She publishes articles in Polish and international scientific journals focused on cognitive psychology, psychology of individual differences and developmental psychology, and participates in numerous scientific conferences.
At SWPS University she teaches classes in cognitive processes and psychology of individual differences. She is also a Master’s thesis advisor and teaches extracurricular courses on mentalization and its clinical and developmental aspects.
