Katarzyna Antolak-Szymanksi, Ph.D., is a mediator and attorney at law. Professionally, she is interested in methods of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and labor law.
While working as an evaluator of mediation programs available in American courts, she conducted comparative analysis of mediation and instances of mandatory mediation in selected legislations.
She is also a keen proponent of mediation as a way of solving conflicts between individual parties and in the society. She initiated a series of conferences to mark the International Mediation Day at SWPS University.
Dr. Antolak-Szymanski is a Senior Assistant at the Labor and Social Security Chamber of Poland’s Supreme Court.
She authored and co-authored numerous publications on mediation and labor law.
At SWPS University, she teaches classes in labor law and methods of alternative of dispute resolution, including mediation. She is also the Head of SWPS University's Student Legal Services, where she oversees the activities of the Labor Law Section.
