Magdalena Śniegulska, Ph.D., graduated from the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Warsaw. She holds a doctoral degree in psychology.
She is a member of the Polish Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy, the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT), the Polish Ethological Association, and the Polish Psychological Association.
She is a founding member and Board Vice-President of the Association “Wspólne Podwórko” (Common Playground), a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive support to children, youth, and adults from disadvantaged backgrounds. For many years, she has been working with organizations that support children and youth development, including: Fundacja Dobrej Edukacji (2017-2023), Nowa Era, Ośrodek Rozwoju Edukacji, Warszawskie Centrum Innowacji Edukacyjno-Społecznych i Szkoleń, Center for Citizenship Education, google.org, Fundacja Szkoła z Klasą, National Research Institute under the supervision of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), the Cinema in Sneakers film festival for children and youth, and Pracownia Testów Psychologicznych Polskiego Towarzystwa Psychologicznego (Department of Psychological Assessment of the Polish Psychological Association).
She authored many publications promoting psychological topics concerning child upbringing and developmental difficulties. She collaborates with some of the Polish leading publications, including Gazeta Wyborcza daily and the weekly Newsweek.
As a therapist, she works with children and youth, individually and in groups, using the cognitive-behavioral therapy approach.
At SWPS University she teaches developmental psychology, psychological bases of education, methods supporting child development, and parenting skills. She is the coordinator of the Psychologia Edukacyjna (Educational Psychology) study program.
