The program enables international mobility of students, academics, and administrative staff, from all fields and levels of study, between partner universities.

Program objectives

The main goal of the program is to contribute to the creation of a European Education Area that has a global reach and to strengthen the links between education and research. The program is also intended to support employability, social inclusion, civic engagement, innovation, and environmental sustainability in Europe and beyond, by providing students from all fields and levels of study with the opportunity to study or train abroad as part of their studies.

Methodology

Students have the opportunity to study abroad at a partner higher education institution or to complete an internship/traineeship abroad working for a business, a research institute, laboratory, organization, or other suitable workplace.

As part of this program, academic staff and administrative staff of higher education institutions are also supported so that they can participate in professional development activities abroad. These activities may include both teaching periods and training (such as job shadowing, observation periods of teaching activities, and training).

Additionally, SWPS University was granted the opportunity to organize four Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) — short, intensive programs that offer a blend of physical and virtual mobility, facilitate teamwork and exchange of ideas through collaborative e-learning.

Project Funding

The project is funded by the Foundation for the Development of the Education System as part of the European Commission's program Erasmus+.

At SWPS University, the project is coordinated by the Office for International Cooperation .
