Would you like to transfer to SWPS University?
We would be happy to welcome you here.
If you currently study at another university and wish to continue your education in the same program at SWPS University, you can apply to have your credits from the previous institution evaluated.
Follow these steps:
Download a detailed class program from the webpage of the study program of your choice and see if it is aligned with the program you were following at your previous institution.
- To be accepted to a higher semester than at your previous university, you must have at least 43 ECTS points.
- Grades obtained more than 5 years before the transfer application will not be considered during an evaluation.
- Grades lower than 4 (B/good) will not be considered during an evaluation.
E-mail our International Admissions Office
To make things easier for you, we will guide you through the transfer admission process. E-mail us your transcript. We will conduct a preliminary evaluation of your credits and will let you know if you are eligible for a transfer to SWPS University. If yes, we will e-mail you a link to apply to SWPS University.
Prepare your documents and fill in the Application Form
When filling in the Application Form, you must check the option “I want to apply to a higher semester in the curricular differences mode” and you must attach your university transcript containing a list of courses, the number of class hours, and ECTS points assigned to these classes. The transcript must be certified by the issuing university. If you are applying to transfer to our Psychology program, you must e-mail all syllabuses from your previous university the our Admissions Office.
Wait for the Dean’s Decision
Once the transcript is verified, the Dean will indicate the semester of studies which you may attend and will provide you with a plan of potential curricular differences, which must be completed by the assigned deadlines.
Once the Dean’s decision is issued, you will receive a notification from the Application Portal. Follow the instructions provided in the Application Portal.
