Dr. Joanna Talewicz-Kwiatkowska is an anthropologist, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology of the University of Warsaw. Between 2011 and 2020, she was Assistant Professor at the Institute of Intercultural Studies at the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University. She completed the Historical Dialogue and Accountability Program at Columbia University in New York (2018). She was a recipient of scholarships from the Fulbright Foundation (2015/16), Tom Lantos Institute (2017), and the European Commission’s program Marie Curie Conferences and Training Courses: Multi-Disciplinary and Cross-National Approaches to Romany Studies — a Model for Europe.
