Wojciech Soczewica is Director General of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation, a fundraiser, academic lecturer, and a former diplomat. He researches the impact of NGOs on the assurance and dissemination of education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust. He graduated from the Institute of International Relations at the University of Warsaw and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. He worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Office of the Plenipotentiary of the Prime Minister for International Dialogue and was Director of the Department for International Cooperation at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (2013-2015). Since 2015, he has been working as Director for International Relations at the City of Warsaw.
