Professor Aleksandra Fila-Jankowska specializes in psychology of emotions, and researches cognitive processes and the impact of hidden biases on attitudes, self-assessment, and human behavior. She is also interested in unconscious and conscious biases.
She authored numerous publications, such as: Samoocena autentyczna - co ukrywamy sami przed sobą (Authentic Self-Assessment: What People Hide from Themselves) (2009). She also co-authored Serce w rozumie. Afektywne podstawy orientacji w otoczeniu (The Heart of the Brain. Affective Attitudes of Orienting Oneself in the Environment” (2004) and Tożsamość. Trudne pytanie kim jestem (Identity. A Difficult Question – Who Am I” (2012).
At SWPS University, she teaches classes in personal development, psychology of emotions and general psychology.
