Małgorzata Waśniewska

 

 

 

 

Profile

Małgorzata Waśniewska is a discourse analyst and cognitive linguist. She obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Warsaw for her dissertation on Linguistic Dehumanization within the Framework of Discursive Worldview (2023), which garnered the Prime Minister’s Award for an outstanding doctoral dissertation.

Research

Her research focuses on linguistic symptoms of dehumanization in discourse and the embodiment of body-part terms from a cross-linguistic perspective.

Publications

She is the author of The Discourse of Dehumanization (Routledge, 2025) and has published several book chapters on body-part terms, including studies on:
