Paulina Nalewajko, Ph.D., is a literary scholar specializing in Latin American literature and a translator. She is also interested in cognitive linguistics, philosophy of culture and the practice of translation.
She is not only an experienced translator of popular science literature for National Geographic but also an interpreter who interpreted for the ProChile Trade Office at the Embassy of Chile in Poland. She collaborated with numerous business partners from various sectors of economy, from Poland, Spain, and the United States.
Dr. Nalewajko received a fellowship from the LLP-Erasmus program, which she completed at the Complutense University of Madrid.
She published numerous book chapters and articles on literary studies, linguistics, and translation in academic journals such as Prace Filologiczne, Studia Kognitywne, and Itinerarios.
At SWPS University she teaches classes Latin American literature and culture, introduction to literary studies, and translation.
