Samuel Boussion is Associate Professor of History of Education and Child Studies at the Institute for the History of Present Times (IHTP), a National Research Center for Scientific Research at the University of Paris 8.

Research Interests

His research examines the dynamics of the medical-pedagogical field in relation to "irregular" childhood. His recent work explores the emergence of new professional practices in child welfare, as well as the links between humanitarian and educational approaches at the heart of the century's traumatic events.
