Faculty of Design in Warsaw

Our interdisciplinary team ensures good practices for using generative tools in teaching, research, and artistic activities. While exploring the possibilities of artificial intelligence, we avoid uncritical fascination with technology. In every decision we make, we take into account environmental costs and ethical challenges.

What we do

Our objectives

As an interdisciplinary team, we research best practices for using generative tools across teaching, research, and artistic activities. The results of this work are used to implement new methods within the Faculty of Design and to improve the skill levels of our students, lecturers, researchers, and administrators alike.

Our primary goal is to understand the implications of this new technology for the fields represented in the Faculty, discover new research areas, and automate tedious tasks. Crucially, while recognizing the possibilities of artificial intelligence, the team remains guarded against techno-optimism and techno-solutionism, always taking into account the environmental costs and ethical challenges of every action.
