In May 2026, SWPS University received PLN 115,531.82 in funding to obtain the "CEEMAN IQA – International Quality Education Accreditation." The grant was awarded under the non-competitive project "International Accreditations for the Development of Polish Universities," implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Total funds earmarked by Poland's Ministry of Science and Higher Education to be granted to Polish universities (Total Eligible Expenses): PLN 15,070,000.00

Project objectives
The project aims to support Polish higher education institutions in securing and renewing international accreditations and educational quality certificates. To this end, funding will be available to Polish institutions seeking institutional or program-specific international accreditation, re-accreditation, or quality certification.
Tasks and Activities
The project supports the university in obtaining and renewing international accreditations and educational quality certificates. By advancing the internationalization of Polish higher education institutions, this initiative enhances their competitiveness and appeal both within the higher education system and on the global stage.
Target Groups
The project is designed for higher education institutions that meet all of the following criteria:
- The institution is seeking to obtain or renew an accreditation or educational quality certificate recognized in the project's catalog of eligible accreditations and quality certificates.
- The institution has an internationalization strategy, a dedicated section within its broader development strategy covering internationalization, or an equivalent document—or otherwise demonstrates documented internationalization activities in its funding application.
- The academic program or programs included in the project hold no active negative evaluations or negative quality determinations from the Polish Accreditation Committee at the time of application.
Project Outcomes
The project will elevate educational quality by driving greater internationalization across Polish universities.
Reporting Non-Compliance with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)
In connection with project implementation, please be advised that any suspected non-compliance of university or project activities with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), adopted in New York on December 13, 2006, may be reported to the Managing Authority or the Intermediate Body.
Reports, notifications, or complaints regarding the non-compliance of projects funded under the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 (FERS) program with the provisions of the CRPD may be submitted by individuals (including project participants and their legal representatives), institutions involved in implementing European Union funds, and civil society organizations (such as associations and foundations).
