For another year, SWPS University holds the number one position in Poland for its international outlook. This specific category assesses the proportion of international students and faculty on campus, as well as the scope and impact of our global research collaborations.
By cultivating a diverse academic community and actively engaging in international networks — such as the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) — we ensure our students and staff have consistent access to valuable global exchanges, collaborative projects, and a truly multicultural learning environment.
Steady growth in research quality
Our dedication to impactful science is reflected in the steady growth of our research indicators. In the 2027 rankings, SWPS University advanced to the sixth position in Poland for Research Quality.
Additionally, our metrics in the Research Environment category continue on a positive, upward trajectory. Together, these indicators demonstrate the university’s support systems and the favorable conditions provided to our academic staff for conducting high-level research work.
SWPS University in THE WUR 2027
The 2027 edition of the ranking features 44 higher education institutions from Poland, alongside four with reporter status. SWPS University shares the sixth position nationally and remains the only non-public university from Poland included in the ranking.
Globally, this year’s ranking includes 3,000 universities from 118 countries and territories — 106 more than in 2026. In this increasingly competitive landscape, SWPS University is placed in the 1401–1600 band.
