Profile

Professor Szymków-Sudziarska is a psychologist. In her research, she uses the evolutionary and social cognition approaches to study human social behaviors. Her projects focus on social implications of the behavioral immune system, the impact of ovulation on cognitive function of women, and friendship between men and women.

She is also interested in the theory of embodied cognition. She authored a monograph “Umysł uwolniony – o poznaniu zakorzenionym w ciele i świecie społecznym” (A liberated mind – about embodied and social cognition).

At SWPS University's Faculty of Psychology in Sopot, she teaches classes in evolutionary psychology, social psychology, and empirical research.
