Professor Piotr Oleś is a renowned scholar in the humanities and a specialist in personality psychology His work bridges the gap between theoretical personality models and the lived experience of adulthood. Professor Oleś earned his Master’s, Doctoral, and Postdoctoral (habilitation) degrees in psychology from the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL). His habilitation research offered a seminal analysis of the mid-life crisis in men. Throughout his distinguished tenure at KUL, he served as the Head of the Department of Clinical and Personality Psychology and as Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

His leadership extended to SWPS University’s Faculty of Psychology in Warsaw, where he chaired the Department of Psychological Diagnosis from 2011 to 2017.
