We would like to find answers to the following questions:
- What exactly is psychotherapy?
- What does it look like from a practical perspective?
- How do theoretical trends translate into actual contact with the patient?
- What to do to become a therapist – what path to take?
- What kind of personality traits are particularly important when it comes to this profession?
Our main goal is to create a series of regular review events aimed at presenting the core principles of schools and methods in psychotherapy, but shown in a different light than what is typically experienced during official lectures. We want to bring students closer to the intricacies of psychotherapy from the perspective of practitioners — people who engage with these issues daily and who see both the bright and dark sides of “healing the soul”. We plan to achieve this through meetings with both therapists and representatives of the schools that train them.
