Members of the Synapsa Student Research Club can already boast of significant academic successes. Jagoda Sobiegała, Zofia Mikosz and Daniel Szumaczuk received the first prize for the best poster presentation at the European Convention of Engineering Deans (ECED), an international conference affiliated with the European Society for Engineering Education (SEFI), which took place on May 25-27, 2026. This year's host of the conference was the Silesian University of Technology.
The team presented the project "E-neuropsychological testing..." describing a modern electronic diagnostic tool for examining color vision disorders among older people and after serious health incidents – dyschromatopsia.
The same team also performed at the 29th Science Picnic at the National Stadium in Warsaw, where they presented their innovative diagnostic device.
