Sylwia Szostak, Ph.D. is a media researcher. Her main focus is on transformations occurring in the medium of television. Additionally, she is interested in the culture of production and administration in the audiovisual sector, and marketing in show business. She also researches creative industry.
As an expert and commentator, she collaborates with a Polish weekly Wprost, a journal devoted to various aspects of audiovisual content – Ekrany, and a news portal Interia.
At SWPS University she teaches classes in film analysis, history of media, the culture of tv series production, and media representation of social phenomena.
